We moved our 2005 reports to a 2008 R2 server. All the reports and permissions seem to have moved over fine when we backed up the database and restored it on the new server. But when we view the subscriptions that were set up, the following error is displayed:
"The delivery extension associated with this subscription is not available
on this report server. Verify that the delivery extension is installed."
I have researched this error message and everything I have seen so far mentions the config settings and something not being in there with regards to the email/delivery extension. I have used the front end Configuration Manager to make sure everything is set up - there is an execution account, the e-mai settings are filled in. The SMTP server and sender address are exactly the same as what was on the 2005 server. So the sender does have mail permissions on the Exchange server.
Not sure what else I need to do? I don't mind manually changing the config file, but I don't know what else needs to be done to it. Plus I would prefer to not have to manually edit it since was under the impression everything could be set from the front end manager.
Is there anything else I need to install on the new server to get the subscriptions working?
