Repeating Tablix Header does not show on pages where embedded subreport details cause a page break

Hi everyone, I've got a report that has a tablix containing a two detail rows, grouped on my ControlID, one of the rows is there to contain my subreport and have it group with the tablix's detail row. This is all well and good, the detail row prints out as normal and when my subreport gets called it prints it out and then the detail row continues on. My problem is that one of my requirements is to have a table header repeat at the top of each page. I've got that working (since the tablix row/col header repeat options did nothing I had to go into "Advanced Mode" and adjust the static row's RepeatOnNewPage property, like in this link here) and the table header prints on each new page as intended for most cases.

This is how I've set up the table. You can see it has a header and two detail rows grouped together with the second detail row containing my subreport.

Here is an image of what the report should look like when it prints out.

The data prints out correctly from my detail rows (including the row which contains my subreport) except when (I believe) the subreport would cause a page break. When the subreport comes at the top/bottom of the page, my next page will not have my table header repeat at the top.

My question is, does anyone have any suggestions on how to make it so that the data within the subreport can either be split so it can be wrapped around to the next page like the other detail row does? Or should I try making it so the subreport only prints if it is not near a page break? Also, for other reasons, I cannot use a page header in this report, so that option is sadly out.

Sorry for the long post everyone and thanks in advance for any advice anyone can give!
