Overwrite parameter default value

Hi Forum,

I am using a report for management and several departments. A parameter (Department) is a multi-value parameter and used without default value, so Management can choose all departments.

The departments use a linked report for which I set the default to the department's value and hide the parameter.
So far so good.

But now I have a cockpit report that uses "go to report" an this should also work for both scenarios. It refers to the individual linked reports (using Globals!ReportFolder).
Management has no problem, but the departments get this error message:
The report parameter 'Department' is read-only and cannot be modified. (rsReadOnlyReportParameter)

Is there a way to overwrite the configured default value or another work around?

TIA
Alex
