I am using SSRS 2008R2 and attempting to build a report that counts the items in a group. The report has drilldown enabled so that the user drills down from a StoreNo text box, think of this as a site number, to a Date_Time textbox, to a Contact Resolution textbox. What I am trying to do is count the Date_Time entries in that group and present it as the number of police dispatched that have occurred for a particular StoreNo value. I am doing the same thing for a field called Contact Resolution, grouping and counting call resolutions like LEFT MESSAGE or NO ASNWER. Counting the contact resolution works fine but counting the Date_Time text box is not working.
For instance, in the screenshot called Counting Date_Time where there is a value of 7 in the light blue row there should be a value of 2, one each for each of the two Date_Time values. The value of 5 out to the right of the first Date_Time value is correct and is for the number of calls that had a LEFT MESSAGE resolution for the date 12/03/2013 2:12:47AM. Why is my reporting not counting the Date_Time values the way I want?
