Hi I have a very strange problem.
We have a report it was running all fine when users are in same domain of intranet. But our org has one intranet with two A and B domain in it. When a user in A domain need to see a report in B domain, we create a group account in B domain. When the user first opened the report, all was fine, the drop down parameter was filled data and the user could select it. However, after clicking View Report button, a credential window popped up and ask for username and password. Since this was a group domain account, the user didn't know the username and password, she just simply closed the credential window, then she got a PageRequestManagerServerError with code 401 error. This test was done on SQLServer 2012SSRS
But, when she tested on a SQL 2008R2 SSRS where has exactly same report with same group account. This time, after select parameter and clicked view report button, no credential was asked again, but just didn't show anything.
What I don't understand is after the report checked permission which was group account and seems working fine, why it would ask credential again after clicking view report button?
Could anyone shed the light what was cause or what was wrong?
