I'm not sure if I am putting this in the correct forum, so please let me know if a different one would be better. I am trying to create a group hierarchy within a report, but apparently I am not quite doing this correctly.
Every time I try to add either a parent group or a child group, it puts it at the same level as my existing group. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. I don't understand why it would give me the option to add a parent group or a child group if it is just going to put it at the same level. Looking at the image below, what I am trying to do is have what you see as the "MarketCenter" below be a child of the "Region."
See how the smaller bracket is contained within the bracket for the "Course Total?" That is what I am trying to achieve. The MarketCenter should be its own smaller bracket WITHIN the Region bracket.
I've tried all the options I can find, either by the "Add Group" option either above or below, or by inserting a row with the options "Inside Group - Above," "Inside Group - Below," "Outside Group - Above," "Outside Group - Below." No matter what I do, it either adds a bracket in-line with the large bracket, or a bracket in-line with the small bracket. I cannot figure out how to get it to add a smaller bracket within the small bracket you see below. I could SWEAR I have done this before, but I haven't had to update a report in this way for a while now and cannot, for the life of me, remember how.
