Problem creating dataset from ORACLE using SSRS 2012

I am creating a report which is sourced in ORACLE tables. The tables are not consistent in structure and as a result require pivoting two tables to create the resultset.

I have the query working in ORACLE (SQL Developer) and producing the data I need for the report. The problem is when I try to run the query in the dataset in SSRS.

Both tables being pivoted contain a field called COLUM_NM. I've Aliased these in the query, and the query is now saying that the table or view doesn't exist. The value identified as the culprit is the alias name. Since I'm using the alias in the pivot, do you have any suggestions as to how I can retrieve the results I need?

I've already dumbed down the query and decided to filter in the report (I had trouble adding a WHERE clause after the pivots). I tried using a DECODE function, like we did in earlier versions, but the overehead was enormous.

HELP!
