Hi
I have a report with two datasets, Dataset1 and Dataset2.
Dataset 2 produces a list of 2500 property ID's eg
ALBS_00003_02 | |
ALBS_00003_11 | |
ALBS_00003_12 | |
ALBS_00003_13 | |
ALBS_00003_21 | |
ALBS_00003_22 | |
ALBS_00003_23 | |
ALBS_00003_31 | |
ALBS_00003_32 | |
ALBS_00003_CC | |
ALLD_00015_00 | |
BANS_00039_01 | |
BANS_00039_02 | |
BANS_00039_11 | |
BANS_00039_12 | |
BANS_00039_21 | |
BANS_00039_22 | |
BANS_00039_CC | |
BANS_00040_01 | |
BANS_00040_02 | |
BANS_00040_11 | |
BANS_00040_12 | |
BANS_00040_13 | |
BANS_00040_21 I have set up a Parameter using this dataset as shown below Dataset1 Properties Filters has been set up as shown below This works when I run the report as it gives me a drop down selection showing all the properties and I can select multiple properties and it will return the information as required. However as there are 2500 properties this is a long selection process open to errors and omissions. What I would like to do is have the option to use an option where instead of using the drop down menu and ticking the required properties, I can type in a value eg. If I wanted all properties that started with 'BANS_' I could type this in and it would only return the 70 properties starting with BANS_ I have tried a few option eg using Operator - In, Like but cant get this working. Is this possible and can someone point me in the right direction Regards John |
