Hello
I am trying to setup a Windows 7 Machine with SQL Server 2014 (Developers Edition) and SSRS from the same CD Image0
The SQL Server install went very smoothly and I am able to access all the features I previously had in SQL Server 2005 developer.
I started looking at SSRS. When I go to
http://localhost/ReportServer_<machine Name>
It Says,.
- The permissions granted to user '<machinename>\dchristo' are insufficient for performing this operation. (rsAccessDenied)
When I look on my c:\inetpub\wwwroot folder it doesn't show reports_<machine Name> as existing.
Strangely (to me anyway the Error is titled "Reporting Services Error". So I assume the error is coming from SSRS.
After words though I am not able to see much in SMS if I use the object explorer on the Reporting Server
I only see Jobs, Security and Shared Schedules and all of the Properties links are either grey out or do nothing.
So
1. Is there any way to get the report server folders for IIS.
2. Is it possible to just Repair SSRS
3. Am I barking up the wrong tree, should this even work. (Installing SSRS from the Developers version of SQL Server 2014.)
Thanks for any advice.
