Visual Studio 2013 BIDS SSRS compatibility

says (last column in SSRS table row) that VS 2013 is compatible with SQL 2008R2 - SQL 2014.

I don't have BIDS for VS 2013 installed at this time.

The way I read this is that if I develop report using Report Server project I will only be able to deploy it to SQL Server 2008 R2 and above. Is that correct?
