I made a SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services report in BI Studio and it takes over 6 minutes to run although the SQL runs in a few seconds in the SQL Management Studio. After deploying the report it runs fine in the Report Manager but still takes 6+
minutes in BI Studio. The SQL statements returns about 125 rows which are counts of clients by department. The SQL is based on a view and there are no parameters. Can anyone tell me why this would be so? The reporting services are running
on my local PC and the data for this report is on a server. I am not running IIS on my PC so report manager points to a site that was set up when I configured the Reporting Services. I can't find this or any of the folders or reports that I have
deployed so I assume they are just running in the RS database.
Thanks
