Hi there,
I have had an O365 with Power BI linked to an Azure VM w/ SQL server and the Analysis Service connector for several months.
I see that the Analysis services connector is being discontinued so I tried to install the Personal Gateway which failed. I then read that I have to uninstall the Analysis Services connector first, so I uninstalled that include the registry settings.
The Personal Gateway now will not unistall or install and I can't connect to my data from PowerBI because the Analysis Services connector is uninstalled.
I followed instructions here:

...but I don't have the line in my log file that says "PowerBiGatewayComponents" so I can't find that registry key.
I am dead in the water and can't go forward and can't go back.
Any idea what I can do?
