I'm new to SSRS. So my question may be easy to answer, but I couldn't find any helpful information yet.
After having installed SQL Server Express 2014, SP1 with Advanced Services and Report Builder 3 (plus Report Builder für SQL Server 2016 RC) I cannot connect to SQL Server Report Server to browse for data sources.
I don't have any data sources defined, yet. Nonetheless I should be able to connect to the Report Server, shouldn't I?
The error I get is "Unable to open or save the file. The permissions granted to the current user are insufficient for performing this operation.":Both, Report Builder for SS 2016 and Report Builder 3 for SS 2014 show the same error when trying to connect to my Report Server.
What's wrong? What do I need to do to be able to have Report Builder connect to Report Server?
Still people out there alive using the keyboard?
Working with SQL Server/Office and their poor keyboard support they seem extinct...
