Multi-Page Report results in missing and mixed up data being displayed on the report

Greetings,

I have come across a weird issue with a report that prints multiple invoices that can have one or more pages.    The invoice consists of header detail and subreports to display to totals and misc charges.

What is happening on some reports is if the totals sub report is the only thing on a page, the report displays the next invoice header information but none of that invoice's detail information.  In some cases only the header displays.  Then the invoice after that prints fine.  Like I said, it is strange.  I also noticed the page number gets out of sorts as well.

On a whim, I added a textbox to the section with the subreport for the invoice totals so I could verify that it was looking at the correct invoice.  Doing this fixed the problem. So I figured it is just a quirk in SSRS and simply hide this textbox.  Once I did that, the issue occurred again.

Here is an example of a bad invoice report page

Bad Invoice

Here is the page previous to it.

What would cause something like this to occur?  If the Invoices are printed separately, they print fine.  A look at the tables created by SSRS shows all the appropriate data is there to be displayed.  One thing I do notice when previewing in SSRS that it tends to take a bit of time before it renders the bad page.  As I mentioned, displaying the invoice number you see in the header in the section that displays the totals information causes the invoices to print correctly.

Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this and how to prevent this issue?

Thanks
