Cannot connect to the data source

Hi All,

I have a report on our sharepoint site and when i click on the report and enter the parameters i get the following error

cannot create connection to the data source. For more information about this error navigate to the report server on the local server machine, or enable remote errors

My question is if i can access the report and enter the parameters, why cannot i access the data source?
