The version of the report server database is either in a format that is not valid, or it cannot be read. The found version is '143'. The expected version is '175'. (rsInvalidReportServerDatabase)

Hi,

I am migrating Report Server DB from SQL Server 2008R2 to SQL Server 2016, I have followed all the steps as described in

msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms156421.aspx (please add https)

But once the database has been attached and I try using it in my SSRS, when I launch the Report Server URL, it will show the following error in the browser.

The version of the report server database is either in a format that is not valid, or it cannot be read. The found version is '143'. The expected version is '175'. (rsInvalidReportServerDatabase)

Has any one else faced similar type of issue and used any hacks to overcome with this issue, please do let me know.

Regards,

Phaneendra
