Hi,
I'm dealing with Report Builder 3.0 issue. Reporting Services 2008 R2 is configured for Sharepoint integration with SP2010 farm; "Click-once" installation for Report Builder.
The following steps are performed on my client PC, which is a Windows 7 box. To create a new RB Report I browse to the document library, pull down the New Documentmenu from the New section on the Documents ribbon > clickReport Builder Report.
After a few moments the MS Report Builder splash screen is displayed but does not disappear anymore. In task manager the program 'SplashForm" showsNot responding. I have to leave the splash screen running for several long long minutes before the Gettng Started form is finally displayed. The delay in other words is inacceptable.
I also tried to launch msreportbuilder.exe from the cache (C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\WZHG0RJN.D1C\ZDPB6HXE.PKZ\msre..lder_89845dcd8080cc91_000a.0032_none_62ec3713d8796a69. But this also end in a crash. this is the error info:

I tested opening RB on the application server (which is not the same server as the report server BTW) using the same method, same user credentials. On the other machine RB opens quickly without the anoying delay I experience on the client PC.
On my client PC, in an attempt to correct the situation, I cleared the cache (deleting 2.0 folder below C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Apps\) which forced a complete re-install. No success however.
To add some more details: I have had a nicely working report builder before on my client machine, which connected to a Sharepoint integrated setup, similar to the one I am trying to connect with now. Since then I removed and recreated a webapplication/site collection and re-installed/reconfigured SSRS afterwards. But obviously I am missing out on something... Could it be that somewhere some leftovers of that previous connection (to what is now an invalid URL) is causing the RB to wait for a response from a server that will never come???
Thanks for your kind help!
