SSRS 2008 - can I average fields from two different group rows?

If I have 2 main groupings on a report (or 2 levels) and I wanted to calculate an aggregate (average for example) within one group but only where the grouping field is a specific value.

Say the grouping looks something like this

SalesPerson
AccountCategory  (eg: " shoes", "hardware", "food")

So the groups for "shoes" and "hardware", I would want an average over those groups that includes only their values and not the others within the parent group SalesPerson

Suggestions?

One way I wanted to do this was to simply have a textbox at the top of the report that displays this value (via an expression).  Now the question is...how to do this:

- Take the average over the field I need but only if the group name is for "hardware" or "shoes"
