I am running two instances of SQL 2008 R2 on a Windows 2008 R2 server. One default instance and one name instance. The server has two IP addresses. I am having trouble with the Reporting Services. Both instances need to use SSL, so both have their own IP address. The problem is if I configure the IP addresses and the certificates correctly, everything works correctly from a remote host. However, I receive certificate errors or the page is unreachable locally. However, it gets stranger if I configure the certificates backwards; the certificates validate correctly locally and fail from the remote host. Anyone have an idea as to what is happening here?
