Cascading Parameters

Hi,

   I am Working with Cascading Parameters.

   I have Two Parameters Say Param 1 and Param 2 - Param 1 is a Text Type and Param 2 is Integer Type

   Q. Can we / How to  Pass the Value of Param 1 to Param 2 

   Note : Param 1 Value is Text Type and Param 2 Value is Integer Type
