parameters for subreport and main report

i have main report and subreport... both the reports have same parameters.. (2 date parameters and 4 string parameters)..

after i add the subreport in my main report..how do i assign the sub report parameters? especially the date parameters....in the main report the user enters a start and end date i need to pass the same values to the sub report..suggest please..
